Where there is no vision, the people perish = where there is vision the people prosper

Reflecting on the importance of vision for fulfilling our purpose. Even Jesus the founder of our faith was able to endure the cross for the joy that was set before Him. He saw something, He has His eyes fixed on something and that enabled Him to get through the suffering of the cross and capture His vision – live His dream and fulfil His God given purpose. When we look at the glint in someone’s eye, they are seeing something. They have a desire for something and it brightens their face. They see something. What did Jesus see?

Glint – to gleam or cause to gleam brightly…What caused His eyes to glint? What causes us to glint?

GOD’S WORD® Translation:

We must focus on Jesus, the source and goal of our faith. He saw the joy ahead of him, so he endured death on the cross and ignored the disgrace it brought him. Then he received the highest position in heaven, the one next to the throne of God.
